This week the team are up on coldfell doing some repair work to an old barn for a returning customer, seen in the photos are the porch extension and north facing extension we completed some years ago, the extensions have blended in beautifully.

Another successful DFG project finished for Copeland Council and of course our fantastic customers June and Alan, these types of projects are becoming more and more regular as the years go on and we welcome them as it’s always nice to know that what your doing is making a difference to the customers lives, here’s what they had to say..

Gill Bros built us a wet room, the team lead by Dominic and Neville kept us informed of the various stages and answered any questions we had. As we lived on site whilst the work was on going they were sensitive to our needs. It was a pleasure to have them on site, they were helpful, polite and courteous at all times. They cleaned the site every night, I highly recommend them for building work.

Even though times are strange we are still working

Even though times are strange we are still working hard to keep ahead of schedule on our three current construction projects, this project pictured above we started at the beginning of the week and have made great progress despite the poor weather, the local building control officer came out yesterday and inspected the foundations and give us the all clear to concrete them, fingers crossed for some nice weather in the up and coming weeks to get underway with the block and brick work.

Today is the handover date for our Bridge End project, swipe for before and after photos.

Before and after photos are taken in the same position, These projects aren’t the most glamorous ones but they are very rewarding seeing the end result, thanks to all involved Cameron Osborn Plumbing And Heating, Craig Graham Electrical, Superdec kitchens and all our lads for putting in the hard work over the last few months. •

One of our recently finished projects looking stun

One of our recently finished projects looking stunning in today’s sun shine.
On this project we carefully stripped the old garage roof being mindful that below there is a living room, we carefully placed in new floor joist between an existing ceiling and covered with 22mm T&G flooring, we built up of the structure below to form two new bedrooms and a lovely shower room, at the top of the existing landing we stitch drilled our way through the old gable end to form the new opening into the extension, the exterior finished off with golden spar dash, last but not least all new paths around the property, as always causing as little disruption as possible to the clients family life as they were living inside the house as this project was on the go, A pleasure to work on thanks Steven and Emma 🔨
