Building Trade

Along with our own dedicated in-house operatives, we have a trusted team of subcontactors that we can draft in to carry out any specialist trades. This enables us to take responsibility for the full project life cycle. Over the last 42 years we have been very much at the forefront in the restoration of many Grade Two, conservation area houses and shops including St Nicholas Church in Whitehaven town centre. Our last major project in this area is more commonly known as the “Old Pram Shop” in the Whitehaven Market Place. We purchased this property from the owner who had allowed it to deteriorate such that it was about to be demolished due to its many structural defects. However with our specialist knowledge and experience and the benefit of a 1904 dated photograph we were able to restore this prominent town centre building to its former Georgian glory. The “Old Pram Shop” is just one of the many projects we have undertaken which include those for our own lettings portfolio and others for commercial and residential clients. We are passionate about our work and find it very rewarding. Many thanks for reading this and we look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future.
